We are currently in Luxor which is the starting point for our four day Nile cruise. The boat is acceptable - about what one would expect in Egypt - which means it is tolerable. It has a warm shower and that in itself is nice. We have a lot of stories but we just happened across this internet cafe and don't have much time to write them.
We arrived in Luxor via an overnight "sleeper" train. Not much sleeping possible what with nearly falling off the bed every 10 minutes. Noisy, smelly, and really shakey. It was an experience I wouldn't want to repeat.... oh crap... we'll be repeating the experience in four days.
Pyramids were awesome, Egyptian museum was really cool. We had a great guide.
Swell is well but did have a day where she passed up shopping and food! Now that's a story.

It sounds like there is a lot of 'shakin' going on there....I would get motion sick...smile
Can you put some pyramids pictures on the website? Matt has been talking about your trip; he is in an exploration mood! Yesterday we talked to our family where we would like to go, and to see the Pyramids was on #2 on his list.
