As if!

So I thought I'd write a story here because it could be potentially embarrassing to the patient it is about. I don't want her to stumble across it.

Patient: "I like to have contact lenses that I can sleep in because, well you know, as a 20 something woman I never know when I might not make it home and I don't want to have to carry solution around with me."

Me: I'm assuming you mean you might meet a man and go to his home and engage in some type of sleepover activity and thereby not be able to take your contact lenses out.

Patient: "giggle, giggle."

Me: Looking patient up and down thinking; "who are you fooling. We both know that you make it home - alone - every night".

Patient: "giggle, giggle."

Me: shudder, shudder.
