We had really nice flights. British airways is a good airline. We had a half of an upgrade - not all the way from cattle-people class to first class but from cattle-people to slightly better. We'll write about that later. (We're about to be picked up to go back to the airport to go to Egypt.) The bad part of our trip was the 12 hour layover in London! more about that later as well.
Nicole has been here for less than 12 hours. She has already cried twice.
The first was when she saw the breakfast buffet at our hotel. She was in heaven. Tears of gastronomical joy covered her face.
The second set of tears came after our 9 hour mid-day nap. They came because of the awesome dinner we just had. Nicole will be a whole new person when this is all done. I predict a 15 pound weight gain.
Short update 'cause we're short on time but we're here, we're happy, and we're safe.

Thanks for letting us know you are there safely. And hurray for the wonderful food - you go girl - that's why we love you so much....you love food, eat it and never gain an ounce. We are so envious. Have fun, see lots. Looking forward to more posts.
