I HATE PACKING!!!

Maybe someone can be hired to come do our packing, while ensuring we are well underweight while maintaining all the supplies we think we'll need. It's been an awful, torturous last 2 days of trying to fit everything we want to take. It makes it harder since we are packing for Egypt separately since we leave within 24 hours of our arrival. A few hours ago we thought we were done... then Sheepie gets the bright idea to check the El Al flight restrictions and lo and behold we had to begin again. You see, they allow us to check-in luggage of up to 70 lb on British Air, but just 1 check in of 40 lb on El Al! That would've been okay since we are planning on dropping off most of our stuff in Israel before we leave... but we only packed one bag of 70 lbs for both of us for Egypt... so Sheepie gets another bright idea of packing half of our stuff for Egypt into another backpack and putting that bag into the big suit case and we'll just split it later! Horray.. this just might work. So we are now at 4 bags total, each weighing the limited 70 lbs. And for our carry ons we are just allowed ONE bag. For Sheepie the huge camera bag (2 cameras, 3 lenses, tons of accessories); for Swell her backpack. Nobody probably wanted to hear all this, but I wanted you all to share in my pain. I just took out some of the clothes I was going to pack... but it will be okay.... just 6 months... and they do have malls there somewhere...We must lose some stuff along the way if we are to bring anything back with us though! Or maybe just ship stuff back.

I wanted to add some pictures from my camera from the sledding. It was so much fun. Thanks to all who came! I enjoyed it so much...just wish it didn't have to be so darn cold! It's hard to eat hot dogs with gloves on!

Well, we should go to bed soon. Tomorrow will be our last full day in the US for a while! So we should do something really American! Like what? I'll have to work on that. I'll make sure I get my grande carmel macchiato though; and it better me made well!
