They are back. School is canceled. We'll see for how long.

New adventures begin. This blog will discuss the transient lives of Swell - a young woman who has the tendency to swell randomly due to a disease known as HAE - and her husband Sheepie Sr. Both Swell and Sheepie Sr. are optometrists who desire to change the world through the pursuit of peace, love, and justice. Optometric adventures are set to the side while they shift gears to optometric public health work in the South Pacific. Feel free to comment, challenge, or question.

Did you get groceries?
I hope you're doing okay. The entire city and country for that matter is in my prayers.
With love;
We got groceries yesterday. I even found pizza dough mix (just add water) and pancake mix! Ate pizza for lunch today and it was yummy. We stocked up, for at least a week. Hopefully we won't need to be...

I'm sure these "snow days" start to get old after awhile. Hopefully you have at least a few things to help fight the boredom. Stay safe, y'all.
If you can get packages, let me know if there's anything you need from the States. :)
CWH,
You're so sweet :) We're doing alright so far with the necessities. So far we're not craving any US goodies, but we'll let you know if need anything. We tried to stock up before we left, but couldn't bring much extra since the notes/books were so heavy! The stores here have almost everything we need, but some things (the ones from the US mainly, unfortunately the ones we can actually read labels for) are way more expensive than the states because of importation taxes and such.
I guess I should write a post later on how we're keeping busy during our fun snow days...
