So it seems that someone neglected to pay our internet bill. Of course we were told that it was completely our fault. We were to bring invoices to school so that they could pay them for us. The problem was that we never received said invoices, so the bill went unpaid for months. Not surprising as things like this have been happening since our arrival. We were never told to expect invoices, we were never told a lot of things. It's alright though. A nice man came yesterday and got us set back up and our internet has been working relatively well since then.
Tomorrow is our last Saturday of teaching. The beginning of our last week. It looks like this will truly be our last week of teaching as our return looks doubtful. Without our return the program will fail (as admitted by the dean). There is no way one person can teach all the glasses that four cadres of students have. Impossible.
We were turned down for funding by one of the groups I asked for money from. They were the ones who were supposed to give us the most money. The money that would help us survive. I've been asked by the dean to redo the proposal to send it to others but I'm not going to beg for money so that we can stay here. They need to come up with the money - if they do we have something to think about. As is stands it looks like we're headed back to Atlanta where we will earn some money and then plan a permanent move somewhere on the West Coast. We're looking for jobs daily but it shouldn't be a big problem to find something in Atlanta.
Wish us luck.

Permanent move to the West Coast?!!! Woo-hoo!!! Be Seattle, be Seattle, be Seattle. : )
Last week of teaching - wow! You've got a world of experience, lots of stories, pics and ideas...we'll be glad to have you back but I know you've got some sadness about the students and the program. Complicated matter.
On a "complicated" note, we bought a new book called the unofficial guide to Disney and it is full of tips and ideas to make the visit successful. It even tells you what time to get there, what rides to go on first and how to avoid problems. I'll be passing along some of the info to you as I get it - or you could buy the book too.
Take care.
Love Mum
All the best!! hey...I won't be that far from you in PR :)

You guys should come join me and Michelle in the Bay Area! =)
Check out Ridemax before you go to Disney. It's really cool... That's how we got done with Disneyland by 6pm including lunch and breaks!! =) It was totally worth getting especially if you don't like waiting in lines!

So does that mean you'll be coming home soon? I thought it was later? I really need to read these more.
